Apple’s iPhone 7 is being criticised once again, this time in a leaked diagram the size of iPhone 7 which might have given away the element of the next model which is anticipated to release this September.
Size of iPhone 7
The iPhone 7 CAD drawing, which was ousted by Twitter source @onleaks and appears to have been created in CAD, exposes a height of 138.3 mm and a width of 67.12 mm and iPhone fanboys should be smart to note that these are almost the precise measurements of the previous generation iPhone 6S, which measured at 138.3 mm x 67.1 mm. Numerous were hoping for a bigger iPhone from Apple this year as it will be the first full step up considering that the iPhone 6 was launched in September 2014. Remember this is the basic iPhone 7 shown here and not a plus sized variant which is also likely to be in the pipeline.
Aside from its informal dimension, the CAD sketch of the iPhone 7 shows a nearly identical design to the iPhone 6 and 6S which just the camera sensing unit hole appearing a bit bigger, but this might be down to it being an extremely fundamental render it was rumoured that the upcoming iPhone would have dual lenses. We won’t understand until a more detailed image surface areas regarding how much has actually changed about the camera or other features, however, it seems size wise there’s absolutely nothing to obtain too excited about.
We would hope after a 2-year wait that Apple would launch a handset that looks and perceive a bit different from the previous generation however rumoured specifications and features are sounding excellent, with the iPhone 7 running iOS 10 and with a faster strong processor. Other rumours suggest a sapphire glass display screen, wireless charging, water-resistant protection as well as the elimination of the 3.5 mm earphone jack and antenna bands making for a thinner handset but we cannot quite tell this from the above image. Time will tell.
